SU head coach Dino Babers added his second class of 2018 commit in Trill Williams.

Class of 2018 three-star athlete Trill Williams has committed to Syracuse, he announced in a tweet Monday night.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound high school senior committed to Rutgers in November but decommitted in January. He chose SU over offers from Boston College, Buffalo, Maine and Massachusetts. A junior at Archbishop Stepinac High School (New York), Williams played cornerback and running back. He is the No. 73 athlete in his class, per 247Sports.com.

Williams also is Syracuse’s second class of 2018 commit, joining tight end Gabe Horan. Both Horan and Williams hail from New York state, which aligns with head coach Dino Babers’ goal of recruiting in-state talent. SU spring practice continues on Tuesday morning.
